About the Role
Moog is a global leader in motion control, pioneering advanced solutions for land, sea, air, and space. The Space and Defense Group is seeking a Planner to provide primary scheduling responsibility for multiple business areas, mainly the machine shop. This role involves communication with execution teams, program planning, and procurement, alongside risk assessments, data analyses, and tactical leadership to meet business deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Acting as a leader within the organization representing supply chain
- Creating schedules
- Identifying risk to schedule slips
- Releasing work orders
- Providing completion dates
- Maintaining planning parameters for components
- Providing report-outs with effective communication
- Participating in problem-solving initiatives cross-functionally
- Participating in continuous improvement activities for the function or business unit
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field OR Associate’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field with 4 years planning experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of MRP planning processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
