About the Role
The Billing Coordinator will audit vendor invoices against service contracts and bill clients for required charges. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely client billing within a growing waste and recycling services company.
Responsibilities
- Audit vendor invoices
- Read and understand hauling service contracts
- Create client invoices at contracted pricing
- Answer billing-related questions from clients
- Collaborate with the Financial Controller, Billing Manager, and team members
- Perform various finance duties and ad hoc project work
Requirements
- Accounting-related degree or diploma preferred
- 1+ year of equivalent experience preferred
- Driven to maintain high standards in all tasks
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, shifting priorities on short notice
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Word, OneNote, etc.)
- Experience working in accounting software (Xero preferred)
