About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Client Development Executive (Producer) for our Construction team within the Specialty Division. This role focuses on new business development, building client relationships, and providing tailored construction insurance and risk management solutions, primarily within the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize opportunities to exceed income targets through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Liaise with the Trading team and Markets to meet client requirements.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with regional offices and Group brands.
  • Engage with regional teams to foster collaboration between in-group brokers and Jensten London Market.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the existing client base and recognize new business prospects.
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline new business processes and systems.
  • Contribute to the Division’s income by ensuring renewal retention exceeds divisional targets.
  • Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards, and external regulations (e.g., FCA).

Requirements

  • Insurance background - Commercial and/or Construction essential.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or working towards them.
  • Demonstrable history of strong new business generation and conversion, and strong retentions.
  • Strong Construction networks/contacts.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Passion and flair for new business.
  • Excellent telephone manner, with the ability to network and build working relationships easily.
  • Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, including working with Insurers and clients.
  • Ability to use initiative and multitask, including updating relevant systems and admin.
  • Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally).
