About the Role
Safely and efficiently maintain the cylinder dock and assist customers with their cylinder needs. This role involves loading/unloading cylinders, performing inspections, and fulfilling customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Understand the hazards of various gases and cylinder contents by reading labels and color-coding.
- Assist with loading and off-loading trucks for deliveries and transfers.
- Ensure all required pre-fill/post-fill inspections are valid and completed before cylinder release.
- Abide by a safe and compliant culture, correcting unsafe acts or conditions.
- Inspect cylinders for defects and test date issues to ensure compliance.
- Paint cylinders according to Awisco's cylinder color code system.
- Perform other related duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Excellent time-management skills.
- Must be driven and team-oriented.
- Willing to work at least one Saturday per month between 8am-12pm.
Skills
- Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred
