About the Role

The Recruiter (Level 1) is responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to recruit and retain top healthcare professionals. This role serves as a liaison between Human Resources, Departments, Hiring Managers, and external clients to achieve operational and staffing goals.

Responsibilities

• Support business goals by meeting placement objectives through independent candidate sourcing.
• Partner with Hiring Managers to understand needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage relationships with internal and external sourcing resources for timely and cost-effective hiring.
• Serve as the liaison between candidates and management during the interview and selection process.
• Consult and advise hiring managers on the hiring process, job requisition details, and candidate assessment techniques.
• Consistently update the applicant tracking system and hiring managers on hiring progress.
• Identify viable client prospects from various sources.
• Place employment advertisements in various media and online platforms.
• Attend recruitment events, career fairs, and networking events.
• Facilitate the requisition process by reviewing job descriptions and ensuring accuracy.
• Monitor and update requisitions and applicant information in the applicant tracking database.
• Negotiate compensation packages, sign-on bonuses, and relocation expenses.
• Assist and follow up with the Senior Staffing Specialist on recruitment processes.
• Oversee the Employment Coordinator to ensure the completion of the on-boarding process.
• Mentor and assist the Employment Coordinator in professional development.
• Assist departments, employees, and management with inquiries and concerns.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of recruiting/placement experience in the health care industry or equivalent combination of education and experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
