About the Role
Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve inspiring guests through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest interaction and recovery to exceed expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles ensure product availability, accurate pricing, and proper display on the sales floor. These roles offer opportunities to gain knowledge in guest service fundamentals and retail business operations, including sales trends, inventory management, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Inspire guests through active selling and compelling visual merchandising.
- Focus on guest interaction and recovery to exceed expectations.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions to guests.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations.
- Operate efficiently and as a team to deliver for guests.
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- Must have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular attendance is necessary.
