About the Role
Target is seeking individuals to join their team in various seasonal roles, focusing on guest experience, sales, and operations. These positions offer opportunities to develop skills in customer service, retail fundamentals, and efficient operations within a dynamic and energetic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Operate cash registers accurately.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
- Climb up and down ladders.
Requirements
- A welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular attendance is necessary.
