About the Role
Target is seeking individuals to help families discover the joy of everyday life through its values and culture. This role offers meaningful experiences to build and develop skills for a career in retail, providing knowledge of guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and experience executing daily workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Inspire guests and build the basket through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Focus on guest interaction and recovery to welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- Work efficiently and as a team to deliver for guests.
- Provide service to guests that makes them say 'I LOVE TARGET!'.
- Stock, set, and sell Target products.
- Work in a busy environment, especially on weekends.
