About the Role
Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles involve inspiring guests through active selling and compelling visual merchandising. Seasonal Service & Engagement roles focus on guest experience, welcoming and exceeding expectations. Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales roles ensure products are set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor, enabling a consistent guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Inspire guests through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- Work efficiently and as a team to deliver for guests.
- Provide service to guests that makes them say 'I LOVE TARGET!'.
- Stocking, setting, and selling Target products.
- Work in a busy environment, making it easy for the guest to feel welcomed, inspired, and rewarded.
- Have a welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Work both independently and with a team.
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Have attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and regular attendance necessary.
