About the Role
Join a collaborative, patient-centered environment at NewYork-Presbyterian where advanced diagnostic care drives everything we do. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a key role within the MRI department, optimizing workflow and ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Optimize workflow and ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
- New York State License in Radiology
- New York State certification for intravascular media injection or the ability to obtain such certification within six months of hire
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology and MRI - ARRT (R)(MR) or, if not currently held, must satisfy ARRT eligibility requirements and obtain ARRT certification and registration in MRI within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
- Maintains continuing education credits per ARRT requirements.
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, modality specific software
- Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
