About the Role
The Mall Maintenance candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the property, including preventative maintenance, minor repairs, building inspections, and supporting operational needs to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
- Oversee contractors for professional repairs.
- Report mechanical issues in real time.
- Perform small building infrastructure repairs.
- Conduct building surveys as directed.
- Perform cleaning, sweeping, shoveling, furniture setup, and seasonal display setup.
- Oversee cleaning inspections and submit written reports with pictures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of general building maintenance or relevant trade experience.
- Ability to safely operate power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions or physical environments.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills to interact professionally with tenants and staff.
