About the Role
Amazon's SCOT Forecasting team is seeking a Sr. Product Manager-Tech to define and drive the long-term vision for forecasting products within the supply chain. You will partner with scientists and engineers to build interfaces for deep learning-based systems that optimize Amazon's supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Define the 3-5 year vision for Forecasting products, working backwards from customer problems.
- Drive strategic communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals.
- Communicate, build trust, and influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.
- Proactively identify opportunities by working backwards from customers in the supply chain and business units.
- Experiment with and scale new products and models from prototype to production worldwide.
- Analyze technical solutions and alternatives to identify opportunities, defects, and customer needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
- Experience managing technical products or online services.
- Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
