About the Role
We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our core engineering team. You'll help build the systems that power our video intelligence platform, shipping code to production in your first weeks and receiving mentorship from senior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Build systems that power our video intelligence platform.
- Develop services that ingest and process video and sensor data at scale.
- Create AI features for searching footage using natural language.
- Implement real-time detections on edge devices.
- Work on AI-native features, including natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows.
- Ingest, process, and serve video and sensor data in real time using Golang and Python.
- Develop user-facing frontends in TypeScript and React.
- Build APIs and systems connecting ML pipelines and edge device fleets.
- Contribute to infrastructure and architecture using Kubernetes on AWS and Pulumi for IaC.
- Work on distributed systems, real-time processing, and high availability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Solid programming fundamentals in at least one modern programming language.
- Evidence of building things (side projects, previous internships, open source, hackathons, etc.).
- Genuine curiosity about AI and its future.
- Resilience to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work onsite for the duration of the internship.
