About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a dynamic, welcoming, and collaborative workplace. This role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. You will support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors while responding to concerns with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
