About the Role
Residential and commercial property owners realize the critical role janitors play in protecting the health of tenants, guests, and vendors. Planned Companies Building Services (PBS) seeks friendly and detail-oriented Janitors and Custodians to provide common area and bathroom cleaning services, ensuring a clean, healthy, and safe property environment. Politeness, respect, thoroughness, and a commitment to providing the highest level of service are essential.
Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
- Stripping, buffing, and waxing floors of various types.
- Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
- Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
- Emptying trash cans, washing, and drying windows.
- Requesting cleaning supply orders and reporting breakages and needed repairs.
- Assisting building management with projects and other job duties as requested.
Requirements
- Willingness to stand on feet for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Experience using cleaning products and equipment for floors and carpets.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong report writing and clear verbal communication skills.
