About the Role

The Program Support Officer will provide comprehensive support services to students, professors, program coordinators, and external stakeholders within the Longo Faculty of Business. This role involves administrative, program, financial, human resources, student, marketing, and inter-departmental support, acting as a resource for academic policies and procedures to enhance the learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative, program, financial, human resources, student, marketing, and inter-departmental support.
  • Act as a resource to students, professors, program coordinators, and administrators on academic policies and procedures.
  • Develop opportunities that directly impact the learning environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive administrative or student advising experience in a post-secondary environment.
  • Experience compiling and analyzing research-based data from various sources, producing reports, and identifying trends to develop solutions and strategies.
  • Experience supporting curriculum planning, academic program delivery, and advising students on course and program selection.
  • Experience with a variety of communication platforms and proofreading communications.
  • Experience interpreting policies and procedures.
  • Special events experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use office equipment (telephone, photocopier, printer, fax) and troubleshoot minor technical problems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Occupational Health and Safety training is considered an asset.
