About the Role

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, make eye contact, or wave.
• Initiate a warm, helpful interaction with guests.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Educate guests on Target App features, including Wallet.
• Explain benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups.
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive-Up, and online ordering features.
• Process returns and exchanges, partnering with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
• Stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services like Order Pick-Up and Drive-Up orders, adhering to adult beverage laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Maintain mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Work in and tolerate varying temperatures and humidity.
