About the Role
The Granite Club is seeking a full-time Granite Gear Retail Attendant to provide a high standard of Member Service in the daily operation of the retail store. This role involves greeting and assisting members, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Build trustful and dependable relationships with Members.
- Develop and maintain a high competency of product knowledge.
- Maintain stock levels to create a desirable sales environment.
- Identify potential for added revenue through suggestive selling and up-selling.
- String and service racquets and sharpen skates according to technical training and Member specifications.
- Practice security measures to protect merchandise and communicate any irregularities.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or educational equivalency.
- Experience in a customer service position.
- Retail Sales experience.
- Good communication skills (English).
- Flexible to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must pass a criminal background check and vulnerable sector search.
