About the Role
Academy Point Mystic is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and implement maintenance programs, ensuring a high standard of living for residents and staff.
Responsibilities
- Understands proper handling of biohazardous waste.
- Maintains a clean and orderly laundry room, storing chemicals according to instructions.
- Follows standards and practices for specific chemicals.
- Demonstrates excellent mechanical skills.
- Works effectively within the work-order system.
- Performs general maintenance work including light electrical, painting, and carpentry.
Requirements
- Familiar with emergency procedures for chemical misuse.
- Demonstrates interest and ability to learn new skills and techniques.
- Demonstrates proper usage of chemicals and equipment.
