Responsibilities

Maintain the dining room, including cleaning and filling condiments.
Perform food preparation tasks.
Manage the dish room: wash, sanitize, and restock dishes, cups, and silverware.
Clean pots and pans.
Complete other janitorial tasks as assigned.
Serve food to Cadets and customers.
Ensure food is properly handled, prepped, and stored to minimize time/temperature abuse.
Store food in designated containers and areas to prevent spoilage.
Maintain a neat, orderly kitchen with high standards of safety and cleanliness.
Serve proper portion sizes according to production sheets.
Record food requisitions and serving line temperatures.
Report accidents or behavioral problems to the Food Services Supervisor and Director immediately.
Report faulty or inferior quality food to the Food Service Supervisor.
Assist with daily cleaning of kitchen equipment and sterilizing dishes, silverware, and utensils.
Comply with all Federal, state, and local laws and regulations for equipment maintenance, repair, and operation (OSHA).
Comply with all Federal, state, and local laws and regulations for trash, rubbish, waste, and hazardous material storage, use, and disposal (OSHA).
Undertake other duties as directed by the Food Services Supervisor/Director.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support the organization in delivering quality products and services to Cadets and customers at the USMAPS facility.

Able to withstand warm and cool working environments.
Must be able to move in tight spaces.
