About the Role

Pursuit Operations is responsible for managing Epsilon's pursuits, ensuring RFPs and major pursuits are organized, timely, compliant, and client-ready. This role will build and operate the systems for intake, workflow, submission, content, and governance, leading the team that executes these processes. The focus is on creating a disciplined, repeatable pursuit motion that enables sales and scales with business growth.

Responsibilities

Orchestrate pursuit workflow end to end, owning timelines, achievements, routing, reminders, and partner concerns.
Run clear intake paths with prioritization, tiering, and SLAs to protect capacity.
Own bid mechanics and submission quality, ensuring compliance, formatting, and final packaging standards are met.
Maintain a single source of truth for each pursuit, managing content assembly and version control.
Build and govern a reusable content library with approved modules, product descriptions, and boilerplate.
Define and enforce standard stages, required artifacts, intake fields, and stage gates.
Run post-pursuit debriefs to capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.
Build the operating model for the function, transitioning from custom heroics to a repeatable system.
Lead and develop the Pursuit Operations team, setting clear roles and operational rigor.
Coordinate across Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Value Consulting, and Sales to support packaging and technical sections.
Measure and improve the pursuit motion by tracking key operational metrics like deadline compliance and cycle time.

Requirements

Deep proposal and pursuit operations leadership experience, including owning workflow, submission quality, and content.
Experience designing and building operating models, including intake paths, SLAs, stage gates, and governance.
Experience establishing and managing a reusable content or proposal library at scale, with ownership models and freshness standards.
Hands-on operational rigor, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
People leadership experience, including developing teams and setting standards.
Experience in cross-functional orchestration under deadline pressure.
Measurement orientation, managing to operational metrics.
Ten-plus years in proposal, pursuit, bid, or sales operations, with recent leadership experience.
Experience unifying fragmented operations into a single model with consistent rules.
Ability to impose structure without becoming a bottleneck.
Experience governing a large content library back to health.
Experience running high-stakes, fast-turnaround submissions.
Comfort building within a function that is still being shaped.
Experience working across a multi-product, multi-capability portfolio.
