About the Role
This role is responsible for achieving and growing sales within an assigned territory, acting as a key resource to support major account relationships and providing ongoing support to the product distribution network by maintaining strong customer relationships. The individual will serve as the primary point of contact, communicating pricing, stock levels, and marketing programs, while ensuring customer information accuracy and processing orders.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and grow sales within the assigned territory.
- Support major account relationships as a key resource.
- Provide ongoing support to the product distribution network.
- Maintain strong customer relationships.
- Communicate pricing structure, stock levels, and marketing programs.
- Ensure accuracy of customer information.
- Process customer orders.
- Develop and prepare client submissions, sales orders, and pro forma invoices.
- Coordinate with operations for order status tracking.
- Collaborate with accounting to support account management.
- Support additional growth opportunities across professional segments.
- Establish, maintain, and manage sales-related communications.
- Participate in sales-related training.
- Stay updated on new products, services, and general information.
- Monitor competitor activities and develop new methods for acquiring accounts.
- Effectively communicate key competencies, brand promise, and company products.
- Train and advise clients on product terminology, features, and benefits.
- Travel to various markets as directed or required.
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of sales experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Over five (5) years of sales experience within a tabletop company (preferred).
- Working knowledge of the commercial restaurant/HORECA sector needs (preferred).
- Excellent formal presentation skills for small and large groups (preferred).
- Experience managing large territories and diverse product lines (preferred).
- Ability to travel independently to company headquarters and other locations for meetings.
- Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
- Frequently requires reaching and extending arms.
- Occasionally requires standing, walking, and bending.
- Regularly requires lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work under pressure, with interruptions, and tight deadlines.
- Independent judgment to propose, follow up on, and complete sales project directives.
- Ability to effectively use database applications.
- Ability to prioritize work, solve problems, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to fluently exchange and write about ZF's various products/services and sell them to potential clients.
- Ability to develop action plans for new client acquisition and existing client retention.
- Ability to use Zwiesel Fortessa Americas' information system and programs.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing about Zwiesel Fortessa products and services with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to interact effectively with colleagues to prioritize workflow, seek assistance, and help others achieve company goals.
