About the Role
The Regional People Partner, Employee Relations Lead serves as the centralized employee relations partner for the Airport Operations team, providing direct support for one region. This role ensures consistent handling of employee relations issues, coaches leaders, resolves issues fairly, and builds an exceptional team member experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to People Partner for Operations leaders, providing support for complex issues.
- Coach and develop station leaders and managers through training, feedback, and recognition.
- Manage employee and labor relations, including investigations, root cause analysis, and outcomes.
- Analyze employee data and feedback to provide actionable recommendations to leaders.
- Partner with People and Operations teams on initiatives like onboarding and process improvements.
- Lead thorough and objective workplace investigations.
- Advise leaders on corrective action, conflict resolution, and consistent employment practices.
- Identify employee relations trends and develop proactive solutions with People leadership.
- Maintain accurate case documentation and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
Requirements
- 5+ years of HR or People Business Partner experience.
- Experience supporting hourly or frontline teams.
- Experience handling complex employee relations matters.
- Ability to earn trust with operational leaders and coach them through difficult decisions.
- Ability to analyze data and feedback to drive action.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Willingness to be on the ground and travel up to 30%.
