About the Role
As an individual contributor, the Social Data & Insights Manager owns the social data and listening function within the studio. You'll work across platforms and tools to extract, structure, and synthesise performance data into clear, actionable recommendations — giving creative, strategy, and account teams a reliable, evidence-based view of what's working and why. This role sits at the intersection of data, strategy, and creative.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain social listening queries across platforms such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprout Social, and Sprinklr to track brand health, audience sentiment, and content trends.
- Analyse organic and paid social metrics to assess content and campaign performance across major platforms (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube).
- Craft clear, insight-led narratives from performance data that directly inform creative decisions and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and maintain weighted social metric frameworks using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft AI tools to surface meaningful, comparable performance signals.
- Synthesise data from multiple platforms into structured, accessible reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Partner with creative, strategy, and account teams to integrate insights into campaign planning and content development.
- Monitor the competitive and cultural landscape using social listening to identify emerging audience behaviours and platform trends.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the studio's data tools, reporting infrastructure, and measurement standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency with social listening and analytics platforms such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprout Social, or Sprinklr.
- Ability to build effective listening queries that surface relevant, high-quality data from social platforms.
- Solid understanding of organic and paid social metrics — what they measure, how they interact, and what they mean for creative performance.
- Experience crafting data-driven narratives that connect performance signals to clear creative and strategic conclusions.
- Confident working in Microsoft Excel, including building structured data models and weighted metric formulas; familiarity with Microsoft AI tools is a plus.
- Clear, structured communicator — able to translate complex data into accessible insights for non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable creating and leading client-facing presentations.
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to data analysis and insights workflows, with genuine curiosity about how AI can enhance data processing and pattern recognition.
- Experience building AI-assisted workflows for insight generation and content performance analysis.
- Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply sound human judgement before sharing conclusions.
- Agentic mindset: a systematic approach to breaking complex data challenges into clear, manageable steps.
