About the Role
The role sits within WSP’s digital innovation team, working on groundbreaking projects to transform the designing and making of buildings. You will define new solutions around platform approaches for Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) projects and create subassembly strategies using manufacturing tools like Inventor.
Responsibilities
- Work on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) projects.
- Define new solutions around platform approaches.
- Create subassembly strategies, including libraries of subassemblies.
- Utilize Inventor and other manufacturing tools.
- Collaborate with WSP engineers and specialists, including MMC and sustainability teams.
- Deliver next-generation solutions to clients.
- Work on projects geared to DfMA at a programme level using PLMs and configurators.
- Shape the future of building design and manufacturing.
Requirements
- Experience delivering complex technical solutions across a wide range of sectors.
- Experience coordinating offsite manufacturing solutions.
- Understanding of different technologies and how to exploit them to transform building delivery.
- Passion for developing next-generation construction solutions using manufacturing technologies.
- Inventor experience is preferred but not essential.
