About the Role
Upwind is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our expert sales team. This role focuses on building customer relationships, understanding their value, and strategically closing deals. You will leverage your creativity and skills to impact our growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Upwind's cloud security products and services.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle.
- Lead and manage the execution of POC engagements to demonstrate solution effectiveness.
- Act as a liaison between sales and product development, providing customer insights.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales/Solutions Engineer or similar technical pre-sales role in cloud security.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, cybersecurity principles, and best practices.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Terraform, k8s, and containers is a plus.
