About the Role
Version 1 is seeking an experienced Oracle EPM Cloud Planning Functional Consultant to join their expanding EPM practice. This role is for consultants ready to take on greater ownership, visibility, and technical depth, working on larger and more complex programmes.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Oracle Planning Cloud implementations.
- Support end-to-end delivery across requirements gathering, solution design, build, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Design and configure planning solutions, including models, forms, dashboards, calculations, and workflows for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and CapEx.
- Support intelligent planning and automation using Smart View, Data Management, EPM Automate, and Groovy rules.
- Engage directly with finance stakeholders, participating in workshops, gathering requirements, validating solutions, and supporting training.
- Assist with quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, patch testing, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for CTC clearance.
- Must have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.
- Solid functional experience with Oracle EPM Cloud Planning (PBCS / EPBCS).
- Experience contributing to at least one to two EPM Cloud Planning project lifecycles.
- Hands-on exposure to planning model design and dimensionality.
- Hands-on exposure to forms, dashboards, and Smart View.
- Hands-on exposure to business rules, calculations, and basic Groovy scripting.
- Hands-on exposure to Data Management integrations.
- Understanding of how Oracle Planning integrates with ERP and wider EPM solutions.
- Comfortable working with finance teams and translating business requirements into functional designs.
- Well-organised, delivery-focused, and keen to develop towards senior consultant responsibility.
