Responsibilities
- Responsible for food safety and quality
- Sort and inspect Aseptic product from finished production lots, which have been stored in the warehouse and authorized for release by QS.
- Notify Quality Management of any quality defects found (Leakers, bloaters, damaged packs, illegible codes, misalignment of carton opening etc.)
- Ensure finished repalletized pallets are neatly stacked and securely shrink-wrapped for proper protection for shipment
- Ensure proper documentation/ pallet identification is accurate
- Responsible for scanning and tagging of all pallets before shipment
- Prioritize files according to QS/ shipping for timely release of customer requests
- QC hold product quarantine including Class 1 holds
- Assist in special projects (ex.) Additional labeling of finished goods requested by Steuben/ customers
- Assist with sorting and inspection of production holds when workload allows
- Assist production with palletizing when workload allows
- Daily sanitation of the repal work area
- Written labor report for pallets inspected daily
- Perform all other duties as assigned
