About the Role

Fitch Ratings, a leading credit ratings agency, is seeking an Analyst to join its Structured Credit Alternative Products group. This role is pivotal in analyzing new transaction proposals involving securitization principles for various private credit transactions backed by debt. You will contribute to informed decision-making in debt capital markets through timely and insightful rating actions and research.

Responsibilities

Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals.
Act as primary or secondary analyst for transaction ratings in a dynamic sector.
Form analytical views and recommendations, presenting them to rating committees.
Defend credit views in discussions with issuers and investors.
Contribute to the development of rating criteria and improve existing frameworks.
Lead and/or support sector trend research reports and projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, accounting, economics).
At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry, preferably related to Structured Credit, Structured Finance, Fund Finance, or Corporate Direct Lending.
Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
High level of personal responsibility, initiative, and self-management.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
