About the Role
As a management consultant in our strategic advisory business, you will help clients navigate complex challenges, unlock opportunities, and deliver lasting value beyond capital project delivery. You will be responsible for delivering measurable value for our clients, primarily in client-facing roles, with some support for internal assignments. Our vision is to deliver value for society through Transformation & Business Change advisory services, utilizing expertise in business case development, innovation management, business change, collaboration, digital, organizational design, and operational improvement.
Responsibilities
- Leads and delivers multiple, medium complexity Change and Transformation assignments without supervision and fully contributes technically and functionally, individually and in teams.
- Leads management and delivery of low to medium complexity assignments without supervision or work packages of more complex projects.
- Authors and quality assures key client documentation such as proposals, initiative scoping, planning and resourcing, progress reports, and outcome reports.
- Conducts analysis to evidence gaps identified against good practice and provides related advice direct to clients, including recommendations for next steps and future scenarios.
- Demonstrates commercial awareness, including involvement in commercial management of projects (resourcing, fees, invoicing) and business development (opportunity identification, proposal creation, approach design).
- Engages in the design, development, and adoption of digital tools and techniques to evolve consultancy service delivery.
- Demonstrates emotional and cultural intelligence skills, understanding own emotions and those of others.
- Matches communication styles and methods to the requirements of different audiences.
- Applies appropriate process techniques, tools, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Participates in Practice (technical capability) development through coaching and training.
- Guides and supports colleagues, contributing to a team environment.
- Works towards intermediate accredited status with Chartered Management Consultant or equivalent.
Requirements
- Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
- Other degree qualifications will be considered if experience is aligned with our services.
- Significant experience working within one or more of our teams’ service lines: business case, innovation management, business change and transformation, organisational design, digital transformation and business improvement.
- Ability to work in teams and with a wide range of individuals.
- Awareness of P3M.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Commercial awareness.
