About the Role
The Sales Enablement Director is responsible for developing and optimizing Computacenter's sales organization's training and development program through the strategy, design, and execution of sales training initiatives. This role requires building strong relationships with sales, executive leadership, pre-sales engineering, Sales Operations, Partners and Alliances, and Integration Centers to ensure strategic alignment and drive sales productivity for Computacenter North America.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, development, and measurement of the Sales Associate program to enhance knowledge, behavior, and skills for high-performing Account Executives.
- Develop content and programs focused on new Sales Associates to build value-based and strategic selling capabilities.
- Manage all aspects of sales onboarding and learning programs for Sales Associates, including content creation, scheduling, coordination, deployment, mentorship programs, and instructor-led training events.
- Plan and manage program rotations around key business areas to ensure Associates are role-ready, shaping agendas to add value to both Associates and hosting departments.
- Provide progress updates on Associates to Sector Directors, executive sales leaders, mentors, and other key stakeholders.
- Offer feedback to Sales Associates on their progress during the program, rotations, and assessments.
- Develop and manage the inside sales program, assessing Sales Associates' capabilities as they learn the full 'quote to cash' product sales processes.
- Effectively manage the training budget.
- Conduct regular reviews of the program with associates and key stakeholders, implementing improvements to align with organizational strategy and role requirements.
Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent, with a proven history of making an impact and driving successful business outcomes.
- 8+ years of work experience, including a combination of Direct Sales and Sales Enablement of technology products and services, and Sales Training experience.
- Experience creating end-to-end Onboarding and Sales training programs is highly preferred.
- Some business travel will be required.
- Extensive knowledge and a desire to stay ahead of sales enablement technologies, processes, and best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of modern sales methodologies, sales process, and buyer’s journey alignment.
- Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion, with strong organization and project management skills.
- High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
- Strategic, data-driven thinker capable of using metrics and observation to improve sales process efficiency and effectiveness.
