About the Role
Mastercard is shaping the future of financial data sharing through Open Finance. The Data Access team builds and grows the partnerships, platforms, and capabilities that power Mastercard Open Finance. The Data Provider Solutions (DPS) team within Data Access represents the voice of the data provider, helping financial institutions strengthen connectivity, improve data quality, and unlock value from Open Finance participation. This role is critical in building and evolving data assets, APIs, and intelligence capabilities for provider experiences within Mastercard Open Finance, combining product management, data expertise, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted product leader bringing customer needs, commercial thinking, and creative problem-solving to complex business challenges.
- Own and evolve key Data Provider Solutions data products and assets, including financial institution metadata, APIs, and data management capabilities.
- Define product vision, roadmap, requirements, and success metrics in partnership with Engineering, Data Quality, Sales, and Global Product teams.
- Drive improvements in data quality, accuracy, enrichment, and usability, while increasing operational efficiency and ecosystem transparency for data providers.
- Lead provider-facing API and platform enhancements to improve connectivity, coverage, and customer experience.
- Analyze data and market opportunities to identify new insights, products, and commercial opportunities for financial institutions and the Open Finance ecosystem.
- Contribute to strategic Data Provider Solutions initiatives, including next-generation connectivity models, provider intelligence, and emerging AI-powered capabilities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated product management experience with a track record of identifying customer needs, defining product strategy, and launching products/platforms.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to turn data assets into new products, intelligence capabilities, and commercial value.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets, including data quality, accuracy, enrichment, reporting, and governance.
- Experience with APIs, data products, platforms, and databases.
- Ability to think strategically while managing detailed execution, requirements, and stakeholder alignment.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge assumptions and explore alternative solutions.
- Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar technologies (preferred).
- Background within financial services, fintech, Open Finance, payments, or related industries (preferred).

- Salt Lake City, Utah: $130,000 - $221,000 USD
