About the Role
The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the end-to-end processing of all apparel merchandise, from receipt to stocking on the sales floor and in receiving areas.
Responsibilities
- Processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system.
- Replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system.
- Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment.
- Unloads trucks as needed.
- Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
- Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies.
- Ensures backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests.
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
- Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
- Makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
Requirements
- Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
- Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
- Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other outfitters.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
- Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Seldom/Never sits.
- Ability to use ladders and/or lifts as needed.
