About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organized Inside Sales Support professional to assist our sales team with day-to-day activities and provide excellent customer service. This position will work closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments to ensure orders, inquiries, and sales-related tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Collaboratively works with sales and operations to ensure delivery of unsurpassed customer service.
- Assist senior sales representatives to determine essential strategic approaches for sales.
- Research, procure and negotiate product availability and pricing.
- Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery.
- Identify trends in customer purchasing to assist in targeted sales development and marketing collateral.
- Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, identify additional opportunities and resolve any issues.
- Capture accurate and complete information and maintain record in PICS’ Customer Relationship Management system.
- Communicate order changes and issues to sales support department.
- Provide coverage for senior sales reps when necessary, which includes following up on email, quoting customers and customer service related functions.
- Other duties as needed assigned by management.
Requirements
- Highly proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Decision making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
- Maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and customers.
