About the Role
Target is seeking individuals to join their team in various seasonal roles, focusing on sales, guest experience, and operations. These positions offer opportunities to develop skills in guest service, retail fundamentals, and operational efficiency while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
- Operate cash registers accurately.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fun and energetic environment.
- Enthusiasm for providing excellent guest service.
- Interest in stocking, setting, and selling Target products.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular attendance is necessary.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
