About the Role
Join our Building Consultancy team, working across diverse commercial properties and projects. Gain hands-on experience and early client exposure to build confidence and professional relationships. Collaborate with experienced Building Surveyors and colleagues across various service lines to gain insight into the commercial property industry. Participate in external industry events, complete IOSH certification, and receive structured support for professional qualifications and career development.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice on the condition, maintenance, refurbishment, and improvement of commercial properties.
- Work with owners, occupiers, investors, and developers to inform property asset decisions.
- Undertake building inspections and property surveys.
- Prepare schedules of condition, dilapidations, and defect reports.
- Assist with contract administration and project management duties.
- Support refurbishment, repair, and maintenance projects.
- Prepare specifications, reports, and technical advice for clients.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety legislation, and industry standards.
- Assist clients with planned maintenance strategies and asset improvement programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Requirements

- RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree with a minimum 2:2 classification (or equivalent) for Graduate Pathway.
- Non-cognate, non-RICS accredited degree with a minimum 2:2 classification for Graduate Pathway.
- 96 UCAS tariff points (or equivalent) and GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) for Apprentice Pathway.
- Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or Construction Technical with a minimum DD profile (or equivalent qualification), plus GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics (or equivalent) for Apprentice Pathway.
