About the Role
Pantheon seeks an experienced Test Manager to coordinate and execute testing for internally developed systems and SaaS products. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including business users, third-party providers, and external suppliers, requiring strong communication, planning, and coordination skills to manage competing demands and ensure successful testing activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and execution of testing activity across multiple internally developed systems and SaaS products.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables from external partners, applying Pantheon's established QA standards.
- Maintain the defect management process, tracking and coordinating the resolution of software defects.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, highlighting potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Oversee the execution of all testing phases, including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions through defined quality gates.
- Identify and flag testing risks to the Head of QA.
- Support proper configuration and maintenance of test environments and test tooling.
- Coordinate with 3rd parties and business users, utilizing interpersonal skills to keep stakeholders aligned.
- Apply the testing and tooling approach used at Pantheon, in line with existing standards.
- Maintain the acceptance testing closure document, capturing key highlights for Go/No-go decision-making.
- Foster collaboration across development teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Individual contributor role with no formal line management responsibility.
- Solid experience coordinating testing in complex environments.
- Experience overseeing the quality of deliverables from external partners.
- Ability to follow and maintain the defect management process.
- Sound analysis of test results, providing detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Experience in overseeing the execution of all testing phases across complex end-to-end solutions.
- Proven track record in ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Skill in identifying and flagging testing risks.
- Ability to work closely and coordinate with 3rd parties and business users.
- Application of the testing and tooling approach used at Pantheon.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Responsibility for maintaining the acceptance testing closure document.
- Ability to foster collaboration across development teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Skills
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps to create streamlined testing processes.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to adapt approaches and plans for 3rd party working practices.
- Influencing skills to encourage productive working practices from 3rd parties.
- Solid experience as a Test Lead, or similar role.
- Sound working knowledge of various testing techniques and methodologies (functional and non-functional).
- Good understanding of test management processes, design techniques, and best practices.
- Good coordination and people skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
