About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and tech-savvy 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team, responsible for a designated local route, ensuring timely and efficient parcel delivery with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, ensuring safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
- Utilize industry-leading Saturn handheld devices for delivery management and tracking.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a positive and helpful experience.
- Load and unload parcels using equipment such as sack barrows and hand trucks.
Requirements
- Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence.
- DQC/CPC accreditation.
- Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
- Physical fitness and comfort with the lifting requirements of the job.
- Professional, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to doing a good job and treating others with respect.
