About the Role
This role involves coordinating health and safety frameworks and programs across complex infrastructure projects and operational environments, leading initiatives to strengthen safety performance, assurance, and compliance, and collaborating with teams to deliver timely safety information and practical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate health and safety frameworks and programs across complex infrastructure projects and operational environments.
- Lead program initiatives and processes that strengthen safety performance, assurance and compliance across project delivery.
- Collaborate across project and functional teams to deliver timely safety information, reporting and practical outcomes.
Requirements
- Hold relevant safety qualifications, or be working towards a minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or Rail Safety.
- Recognised as a collaborative safety professional, skilled at coordinating competing priorities and communicating technical information clearly.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating health and safety programs within complex project and/or high-risk environments to achieve safe, compliant outcomes.
- Apply sound project management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities to deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and standards.
