About the Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating, implementing and monitoring all systems to ensure foster care team needs are met in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Ordering supplies, upkeep and maintenance of office and office equipment, coordinating petty cash, filing and shredding, photocopying
- Performing administrative duties including greeting guests, maintaining visitor sign-in sheets, answering phones, directing and tracking inquiries, distributing paychecks, coordinating mailings, uploading documents to agency intranet, data entry, editing and proofreading documents
- Processing and submitting invoices, calling vendors for information, electronic submission of invoices, submitting check requests, and submitting expenses to finance
- Researching and registering staff for trainings, assisting with training and teambuilding activity setup, and gathering and distributing documentation
- Acting as a liaison with landlords for office space issues, arranging office space for trainings and meetings, and coordinating food
- Assisting with hiring paperwork, including hiring packets for prospective applicants and new hire paperwork, arranging for and distributing keys to new staff
Requirements
- Minimum of High School diploma/GED required
- Possession of a Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving history
- Ability to work with economically and culturally diverse populations
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Data entry skills

- Administrative, customer services, or human services experience is a plus but not required

Salary/Compensations
- $18.50 - $20.67 Hourly
