About the Role
Favorite Daughter is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the stock team, manage back-of-house operations, and ensure the sales floor is always stocked. This is a hands-on leadership role with direct impact.
Responsibilities
- Own the flow of merchandise, overseeing shipment receiving, unpacking, processing, and product placement.
- Keep the stockroom, storage, and shipping/receiving areas organized, efficient, and audit-ready.
- Manage inventory accuracy through counts, transfers, and RTVs, flagging discrepancies early.
- Partner with store leadership to ensure the sales floor is always stocked and set to brand standards.
- Back up the sales team by getting them product quickly and efficiently during peak times.
- Support opening and closing operations, including receiving logistics and back-of-house readiness.
- Uphold Loss Prevention and safety standards across all stockroom and operational processes.
- Greet and engage customers when on the sales floor, and model professionalism for the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of stock, operations, or retail experience, with some supervisory or team-lead experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management; ability to keep multiple priorities moving at once.
- Comfort with inventory systems, POS, and the basics of Microsoft Office.
- Availability to work a full retail schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, plus early receiving shifts.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds.
