About the Role
As a Deployment Strategist, you will be responsible for ensuring successful AI deployments for enterprise customers. You will guide clients from initial discovery through pilot and production rollout, translating AI initiatives into actionable plans and measurable results. This role involves close collaboration with customers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Product teams to ensure alignment on project goals and successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Embed deeply with customers to understand their processes and systems, identify the most important problems to solve, and obsess over helping them win.
- Lead discovery with enterprise customers to understand workflows, constraints, and success criteria.
- Define scope, success metrics, and integration plans for pilots and rollouts.
- Translate customer needs into clear deployment plans for engineering teams.
- Coordinate deployments across Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.
- Track progress, manage risks, and remove blockers throughout the deployment.
- Support production launches and ensure solutions are adopted and working as intended.
- Monitor deployed agents and drive follow-up improvements based on real usage.
- Identify additional use cases and expansion opportunities with customers.
- Spend time onsite with customers, working through real constraints, answering difficult questions, and ensuring solutions deliver real value.
Requirements
- Experience in deployment-focused, technical, or execution-oriented roles.
- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn them into concrete plans.
- Comfort working with technical concepts such as APIs, MCP, data flows, and system integrations.
- Clear communication and strong stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership mindset and bias toward action.
- Interest in building and deploying AI-powered systems in real environments.
- Background in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or forward-deployed roles.
- Prior hands-on engineering experience.
- Experience supporting production software launches.
- Experience working in high-growth or early-stage environments.
