About the Role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, production spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate access-related documentation.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations.
- Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
