About the Role

We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to support the regulatory reporting process for Fidelity’s broker dealers and customer channels. This role involves data analysis for various use cases, including responding to institutional customer needs, external regulator inquiries, and strategic analysis to improve internal reporting systems. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hands-on collaboration and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze trading and customer identification and account data to support daily operational regulatory reporting.
  • Perform proactive data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in existing reporting processes.
  • Support data research and analysis for teams responding to regulator and customer inquiries.
  • Identify data anomalies and/or gaps to understand the source of reporting issues and collaborate with product and operations teams to define solutions.
  • Explore and implement AI and Machine Learning solutions to automate, validate, and enhance regulatory reporting processes.
  • Support data governance, quality control, and data mapping documentation across regulatory reporting areas.
  • Perform and design acceptance testing for data quality in systems and applications supporting regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • FINRA Brokerage license Series 7 required within 6 months of hire
  • Experience with trade and/or customer account data, or regulatory trade reporting (TRACE, MSRB, ACT, EBS, CAT/, Rule 605/606) is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient with SQL, Oracle databases, Excel and other data visualization tools
  • General data science knowledge
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and experience with Python is a plus
  • Highly analytical with the ability to quickly comprehend large data sets to develop new processes, perform calculations, identify anomalies, and/or produce new reporting capabilities
  • Fidelity will not be providing immigration sponsorship for this role.
