About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and preparing accurate incident reports.
- Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged barriers, lighting concerns, and/or prohibited activity.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
