About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Communicate clearly, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
- Document patrol activities, observations, and incidents accurately while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
