About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will deliver Waitrose produce and provide Partner-led service to customers. You will be based at the Coulsdon Customer Fulfilment Centre, serving customers in London and surrounding areas. Deliveries are made using company vans. An additional Night Premium of £3.75 per hour will be paid for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Checking delivery routes for the day.
- Ensuring vehicle safety checks are complete and maintaining road compliance and health and safety.
- Acting as a brand ambassador for Waitrose with a focus on customer service.
- Assisting customers with their shopping and building rapport.
- Supporting the wider CFC team with general shopkeeping tasks when required.
Requirements
- Full valid B-Category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6-points.
- Great customer service skills.
- Ability to cope with the physical requirements of the role, including lifting crates, walking up staircases, and moving cages.
