Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver all engineering services, overseeing technical aspects of facilities services across the portfolio.
- Lead Hard Services delivery and provide regional leadership, ensuring objectives are met and operating strategies achieve required standards.
- Collaborate with account and local client teams, responding promptly and thoroughly to requests.
- Ensure exceptional customer service for internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Lead Hard Services Management across the cluster, including budgets, schedules, procurement, quality, risk, statutory compliance, and governance.
- Develop and implement consistent maintenance management practices across sites.
- Lead service partners and teams to drive performance and best practices for exceptional service delivery.
- Provide technical support for client's leased space as needed.
- Lead regional contract sourcing for technical products or services.
- Support JLL and client business pursuits.
- Oversee the JLL Engineering Operations Audit program.
- Drive and deliver innovative cost reduction or sustainability programs.
- Implement improvement strategies using quantifiable, data-driven insights from technology platforms.
- Collaborate with the EMEA Sustainability Manager to identify and apply energy management best practices and innovations.
- Manage all engineering budgets within the UK portfolio, working with site facilities managers and forecasting according to the financial timetable.
- Lead the UK engineering function to support client accreditations and certifications (e.g., Client ISO50001, ISO550001).
- Communicate regularly with the Client team to build and maintain relationships.
- Work with key business partners and cross-functional groups.
- Manage internal and external Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure contractual commitments are met or exceeded.
- Promote a high level of customer service and drive best practices.
- Ensure business continuity plans are executed to minimize service disruption.
- Perform other duties as requested by the EMEA Account Director.
- Adhere to health and safety measures and promote best practices among colleagues, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols, staying updated on legislation and trends.
Requirements
- Direct experience in delivering technical Facilities Management services in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Proven ability to lead and influence others, including virtual teams, in a similar role.
- Track record in managing Hard Services, with experience in both self-delivered and outsourced engineering services contracts.
- Experience in financial management and budgeting, including identifying cost savings/avoidance.
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relations and network effectively at all levels.
- Capability to audit own work.
- Openness and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Keen interest in technology.
- Strive for excellence and share ideas for improvement.
- Organized, efficient, and able to meet tight deadlines with professionalism and a service-focused approach.
- Adaptable to varying requests and projects.
- Technical or Authorised Person qualifications (preferred).
