About the Role
Therapy My Way, P.C. is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Licensed Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) to join our growing private practice in Plainview, New York. This position is ideal for a licensed psychologist who enjoys providing high-quality outpatient psychotherapy in a collaborative private-practice setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Conduct initial clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with other clinicians and members of our multidisciplinary team
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, schools, and other providers as appropriate
- Participate in staff meetings and clinical consultation as needed
- Maintain ethical and professional standards consistent with New York State licensing requirements
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- Current New York State license as a psychologist
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Professional, dependable, and able to manage an outpatient caseload independently
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary practice
