About the Role

Develop the market-leading ISM (Igloo Standard Model), used by insurers and reinsurers around the world for capital modelling and reinsurance pricing. Work with clients and partners to design, implement new technologies and statistical techniques. Contribute to Igloo product development and shape its future. Be at the forefront of stochastic modelling with diverse applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the market-leading ISM (Igloo Standard Model), used by insurers and reinsurers around the world for capital modelling and reinsurance pricing
  • Work with clients and other partners to design, develop and implement new technologies and statistical techniques
  • Contribute to Igloo product development, working with the development team to shape the future of Igloo
  • Be at the forefront of stochastic modelling with a broad and growing variety of applications

Requirements

  • Newly or nearly qualified actuary or equivalent
  • Experience of reinsurance pricing or capital modelling
  • Demonstrable interest in coding and AI
  • Excellent client relationship skills: ability to develop strong relationships quickly and maximize resources effectively to achieve goals
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and self sufficient
  • Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a numerical based degree
